INDEPENDENT HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES (TANDRIDGE)  DIANA FRANCIS HOUSE

About our organisation...

Diana Francis House is owned by AmicusHorizon and is managed by Independent Housing Opportunities (Tandridge). It was developed with support from Tandridge District Council and works in conjunction with Surrey Supporting People.  The house is situated in Caterham Village, a short walk from a large Tesco Store and bus stops, with Caterham and Whyteleafe Train Stations in the near vacinity.  Being part of rural Tandridge means that Caterham is surrounded by green belt including Kenley and Coulsdon common.

This is how it all began:

  • 14 years ago, members of the Phab Club had a dream
  • They saw a need for young people with disabilities to be able to live independently
  • Work started on the house on the 9th September 2002
  • Then saw completion in 2003
